About the Authors

Ken Hemphill
Ken serves as the National Strategist for Empowering Kingdom Growth, Southern Baptist Convention. His passion is to advance the Kingdom of God by honoring kingdom principles set forth in God's Word. His heart is for the local church, and to see pastors and ministers succeed in their ministry role.
Education
Bachelor of Arts, Wake Forest University; Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; a Doctor of Ministry, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; and a Doctor of Philosophy, Cambridge University
He has served as the president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas; the director of the Southern Baptist Center for Church Growth with the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board) and in pastoral positions in Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

Paula Hemphill
Paula serves as a Women's Mobilization Consultant of the International Mission Board, Southern Baptist Convention. Her passion is to assist women as they fulfill their calling as followers of Jesus Christ and to mobilize women to pray and actively support Christ’s Great Commission to disciple all peoples.
